I would like to do something exotic from very ordinary things stuffed in my fridge..
For example if you have left over rotis and some fresh green vegetables you can brighten up your boring breakfast. Make a rocket in your pocket.... Read how...
Prep Time: 15 mins max
Ingredients:
2 Atta Rotis (leftover from ur dinner)
Butter to grease the rotis
Green veg like tomatoes, cucumber, cabbage, green chilly (optional),onion, capsicum and coriander leaves
2-3 tablespoon curd
Cheese grated (optional)
Salt n Pepper
Way to make: Cut a roti in two equal halves and keep it aside. Now grease a pan with little butter and toast the roti till it is nice and crispy. Chop all the green vegetables finely and keep it in a bowl. Add the curd and mix it properly with the veggies. Season it with salt and black pepper. Now take the roti and fill the pocket/slit of the chapatti with curd and veg salad. Add you can add some grated cheese if you want as toppings. Serve it with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
I do it often and it can be done really quick and trust me its yummy. Try it out and write back in The Eating Buddha forum with your suggestions.
